The Jerome Tiger baseball team just will not go away...much to the chagrin of its conference opponents. The Tigers, the #4 seed in the tournament, opened play with a win over Canyon Ridge, only to face the #1 seed, Twin Falls. After falling to the Bruins, the Tigers were tasked with the difficult challenge of traveling to Wood River to win back to back games in order to keep their season alive. In Wood River, Jerome defeated Canyon Ridge (again) and ended the Riverhawk's season. However, the #2 seed, the upstart Wood River Wolverines were waiting. On the Wolverine's field, the Tigers were tough. In a pitcher's dual that wasn't decided until the final inning, Jerome escaped with a 2-1 victory and ended the Wood River baseball season. Now, Jerome is one win away from the state tournament. Standing in their way are the Minico Spartans. Jerome and Minico will battle tonight (May 13) at 5p at Minico High School. Winner to state! Let's go Tigers!! #OneTeamOneTownOneFamily
